Certified Approver Continuing
Education records are available as part of the Training Registration
On-line website. The records are based on sign-out sheets
that were available at CA-sponsored events, Report of Attendance
forms that were submitted for attendance at approved professional
conferences, classes, and subcommittee work.
To check your record,
you need to compare it to the "Approved Continuing Education
Options 2006-2007" list on the CA website. This list
will give you the number of hours of the requirement that were satisfied
by each event.
1. Review the CA Continuing
Education Requirements on the CA website.
2. Print a
copy of the "Approved Continuing
Education Options 2007-2008" to compare against your Training
History. This site will show you how many hours were assigned
to each session.
3. Access
the UM Reports
site.
4. Click on
User Login.
5. Enter your
Internet ID and password.
6. Click on
the "Search Reports" tab at the top, right-hand corner
of the page underneath your name.
7. Under "Report
Search" type in the word 'training' and hit Enter.
8. Click on
"Training History".
9. Enter in
your EmplID and click on Submit.
10. For Course Status,
highlight "Completed" and click on Submit.
11. You will then
view your Training History. To the far right is a column titled
"University Training Unit". To sort the list by
CA courses, click on the Up arrow for this column.
12. Compare your
record with the approved list, noting the number of hours assigned
to each event.
13. If you have
completed a Report of Attendance form for a training event, conference,
committee work, viewing a video, etc. you will find that a course
name and number have been assigned.
